The work table
Since the back hall is a work room it is important with good lighting. If the back hall has a work table then a fluorescent lamp mounted on the wall or on the ceiling can created a really good work light. You can choose fixtures with various colour temperatures, a cold white light (4000 Kelvin degrees) gives a good work light. A good alternative could be internally fitted spots in the ceiling or, if there are cupboards, the spots can be built into the bottom of the cupboard and thereby light op the work table.

With pendant lamps you can create good light on the tabletop. The light from the pendant lamp is recommended to be above eye height and shine down approximately at the centre of the table with a min. height of 50-60 cm from the tabletop.

The room
By placing a ceiling lamp, fixture or spot lamp on the ceiling the light can fill the entire room. Nordlux carries a ceiling lamp with built-in motion sensor; Hidden. This ceiling lamp is very practical in a room like the back hall so the light turns on automatically as you are often only in the room for a few seconds. Furthermore you can set the sensor individually so you decide how long the lights should be on.

Lighting for effect
The light can be moved around the room easily with a Nordlux ”Link” rail and can light up dark corners, pictures or a message board on the wall. It is difficult to find your things in the dark. That is why internally or externally fitted lights in cupboards are practical.
